Barry has been campaigning here in Gillingham over a number of years. He has been a member of Gillingham Town Council or 3 years and has served as Deputy Mayor and, over the past year, as Mayor.
Barry strongly believes in Gillingham’s community and has worked hard during his time on the Council to help and support many community groups and initiatives. Most recently, he has been leading the fight here in Gillingham to keep our community beds at the Westminster Memorial Hospital. Barry has worked to defend the town’s services and the hospital beds. As a member of the town’s traffic management team, he has been listening to what you have to say and acting on it. He is your voice on a number of the Town Council committees, ensuring that your views are heard.
